Measuring bullets -- part two

As long as we're kicking round things that "may" matter, how many sort their bullets for CG-offset? We know that can lead to up to half a minute of dispersion Phil, at least, could build the tooling for dynamic testing. Maybe he already does?

Charles,

I did it years ago. After many attempts to build a suitable device, I gave up. Also, the acrylic tends to shatter after machining (like days/weeks later) and it was a real pain in the ass to go make another device. I have a few laying on top of my computer cart at work if you wanted to try it, but, wow, that was not very fun. Of course, the ones that didn't crack up didn't work well either. Murphy's law. I applaud Harold's patience in building the device. I have the acrylic rod left too if you want some. Send an address.

I got the impression that Vaughn's device went unfinished but was a starting point. Has anyone been successful with this to date?
Would be a fantastic(and I think useful) toy!
