McMillan A-5?

Hi!

I´m looking for two McMillan A-5 or A 3-5 stocks. Anybody that know of a dealer that may have two in stock?

I have a feeling that McMillan would have quite a few weeks of delivery on a order......

I suggest you contact McMillan and ask them who their biggest customers are. But, you're in Sweden, and they're in Arizona, USA...

Two vendors I know of who often have McMillan stocks on hand are: Bruno's Shooter Supply (in Arizona)

GA Precision (in N. Kansas City, Missouri)

You can find them/their contact info on the internet. :)

I e-mailed Brunos yesterday but haven´t heard anything yet. Jackson rifles seemes like they only stock inletted McMillans, most of them for Rem 700.... Im building one rifle around a Finnish Jalonen action and one around a Weatherby MK V.

I think my problem getting stocks resonable quick could be solved that way!

Maybe, if they have something already inletted for the actions you mentioned, or uninletted -- provided you can do the inletting locally. :)

I just check stock on stocks (!!) at Bruno's website, and there doesn't seem to be any A5 or A3-5 listed. As we say in the USA: phooey! :D
 
Any chance of finding an inletted, NA A5 stock for a Bat 8.5" "M" 1.55 Rb-RP with a 1K HV contour without ordering it? All the websites i see cator to the Rem LA-SA crowd.....Not that there is anything wrong with that......

A friend of mine wants to turn his 1k BR gun into a LR hunting rig. Not F class related, but the thread is already here, so......

Just an update on my search!

I bought 3 A-5 stocks from McMillans "internet specials" inletted for 700 LA. Non of the rifles that will have the stocks are 700 LA but it will be possible to inlet all of them in a 700 LA pattern.
