Maximum fore-end width for an NBRSA 1K light gun???

Hi All,

I have searched everywhere trying to determine what the legal fore-end width is for a NBRSA long range light gun. Forum searches return nothing and the rule book pages on the NBRSA web site don't work.

Can anyone tell me for sure what the legal width is for a 600-1000yd NBRSA light gun? I'm about to buy a stock with a 4 in. fore-end and want to make sure it will be legal.

Thanks for your help...

Is a rudder NBRSA legal in short range BR?

If, when attached, it does not violate the lower buttstock angle rule, I don't see anything in the rules that say you can't use one in LV and HV.

In Sporter and Unlimited, there are no stock restrictions, so yes, it is legal. Sporter does prohibit any guiding means that would cause the Rifle to have true return to battery capabilities, but that is not what a Rudder does.

Thanks to all for your input. Looks like I will be OK with the 4 in fore-end.

We will probably start seeing some of these show up. Seems like a good fix for some tracking problems. This is the first one I've seen.
