pictures??? ;):D Is the MAS used for international shooting, and they decided this would be a nice endeavor as well??:)

It's this--about 25 years old, left-hand bolt, right loading port, .220 Swift.

Built by Hart.

I'm sorry Tim, I wasn't trying to..................

be funny, I thought you were speaking about a variant of a French military rifle, the MAS bolt action. ;) I haven't run across the bird of which you speak.

Brian-- I know! Confusing to say the least. I would like to know more about these actions and what their connection to Hart Rifle Barrels was--I guess I'll stop over to Hart's and ask Jack--he may remember. I'm in the neighborhood.

Tim:)

Or, you might even call...............

Wally; he's in most days, unless he's fishin', horsey ridin', harley ridin', huntn', shootin', playin' w/the gran'kids, I haven't caught him crabbin' yet, even though he can be argumen .....opinionated! :D:D;)

Correction

Hold the phone! CORRECTION!

It's a PAS action!

Anyone?

Time Precision

I did a google search, and another Forum said that PAS became Time Precision, who make excellent actions. That picture is probably a SLV, which I think stands for Stainless Light Varmint...........jackie

He might even be out back banging a couple rocks together trying to make one sharp!

I've heard back from Art at Time Precision...they are still making the PAS actions in a variety of configurations. He confirmed for me that the "SLV" in the serial number does indeed stand for "Steel Light Varmint".

This is a super rifle!

Thanks to all who helped me run this info down!
