Lube for changing barrels

Good day Y'all,

Can anybody tell me his best expirience with changing barrels?
I want to know which lube is the best to use when changing a barrel (6PPC)?
Hope someone can help me out.....:)

You will get many opinions on this, everybody seems to have their own preference.

I use gray anti-sieze, the brand we have in our shop is made by Jet-Lube. Seems to do a great job.

A thin film in the threads, and a very thin film on the action face........jackie
 
I use the gray anti-sieze I got from the Sinclair Catalog.
 
I use Lubriplate assembly paste, same stuff used to assemble engine components. Really only because I had a few tubes of it, but it works.
