Low turnouts in airgun benchrest games

But I'd still like ta see some a these high score shooters

Come over ta Temecula an show us how easy they shoot tens. Don't forget, we ARE shooting for scoring rings this time, an its this Sunday! An its a covered shooting area, so don't get outta the ten ring or you will get schooled.
 
Believe me, if you were 1.5 hours or less away I would be there for every event. You can't believe how disappointed I am that I was not able to get any shooters to come to my AGBR events.

Hi , I thought that Georgia was the hub of benchrest shooting.what went wrong? some of the best shooter in the world came for around thos parts.:)
 
GA does have some great BR shooters, they just ain't interested in taking on some new expense and time eater I guess [ although the airgun {in my experience} doesn't take hardly anytime to master unlike the rimfire]. I would have hoped that some of the rimfire BR shooters would have taken up the airgun since the World Championships for rimfire also have airguns.

Your right on all counts.have you seen the price of .22 ammo , you can still get good air gun ammo for less than $10.and that will last you all month and maybe longer if your a good shot..shoud last you a good year.:D

Yea some guys git to shoot matches in there back yards,don't have to drive any where...but most have to drive 3-4 miles huh? and gas just jumped up again this week. $2.50 is going to look good....:eek:
