Loss to the Benchrest Community

It is with deep regret I must inform you of the passing of Dennis Thornbury’s father
Paul Thornbury was 95 years old
Pops was not a competitor, but he traveled to many shoots with Dennis, I am sure a lot of the traveling shooters met him over the years
Besides being President of the NBRSA and Visalia CA Match Director, Dennis is a good friend to a lot of the Benchrest community
Our deepest prayers and condolences go out the Dennis at this time

Dennis, my deepest condolences to you and the entire family. It seems that your father had a full life, but he will still be missed. We are diminished. James Mock

Mr. Thornbury was always out at the matches, perusing targets and checking who was shooting well. You knew that he had a good life, raising a fine and loving son. We will miss him.

Very Sorry to Hear of Your Loss....

Dennis,

I'm so very sorry to hear of your father's passing...

Will keep him and your family in all my prayers!

I first met Pops Thornberry at a nationals in St Louis. Dennis was parked about half way between the firing line and me. Pops sometimes would be out and we would chat. Dennis you had a great dad.
