We are proud to announce a Registered NBRSA 600 yd benchrest match on June 18-19, 2011 at the Pine Valley Range in Huntsville, Tx.
We will be shooting light and heavy gun, group and score.

Joe, Mike, are the entry fees the same as point blank NBRSA matches ($50 per day) and will the range be open for practice on Friday?

Vic, we do plan on having the range open on Friday for practice. Additionally, Mike will open it for practice and testing on weekends if you just give him a shout.

When we shot there back in August there was about a 15 to 25 MPH breeze and you still had a bunch of mirage. 600 yards looked to be from here to WAY over yonder. As you can see from the pictures here, the range is a very open field so everyone is going to experience the same conditions. Mike Cockcroft spent a great deal of time and cash building this range over the last year. Currently there are 12 benches with plans to expand to 15. The firing line is covered but there is no cover other than that. As you can see, most folks bring and set up their own awning. It is a great place to shoot.

The young lady is Mike's daughter. If you get out of line and she does not shoot you, Mike certainly would! And yes, we have several ladies that shoot in our matches. Quite well too.
 
Cant wait for it I will be there and try to keep up with you guys.
