Lock-Ease???

I use some good ol'.....................

hexagonal Boron Nitride mixed in some MPro7 oil. It cleans and lubes. I fire it w/the bore damp, not patched dry. Seems to work really, REALLY, well. ;)

lanolin from the freshly shorn wool of virgin sheep. Just wring out the wool itself. Apply it at midnite on the full moon nearest the vernal equinox whilst prancing widdershins around a roadkill possum. (watch for cars...)

If virgin sheeps is hard to come by in your area then the oil from behind your ear works too.

"Virgin Wool" as sold by wooleneries like Pendleton or Filson is a fraud.... I know for a FACT that some of those sheeps is experienced....

anyways....

lanolin, always smooth, never crusty.

I tried that stuff about 6-8 years ago when it was all the rave.It looks like your shooting black powder when it goes off no matter how many dry patches you use but it does blow in the eyes of the competition if the wind is right.:cool:Let me know when you run out and I'll send you the rest of mine.

Quite the amazing thing.
I was using Break-free. Close, but not close enough.
2-3 drops. And the first one is usually in the group or starts the group. But, it is on the sighter....
I was told most of the carrier evaporates. Leaving graphite.
And this Engineer. Said the quality of the graphite has improved the last few years. So he stopped making his own.
I stopped using Break-free in my bore when I found out teflon wasn't conducive to accuracy.

Jay I was out during that time.
I never have heard the whatfors on the teflon other than the smoke being dangerous to inhale.
What was the final result with all of that?
