I would like to see a 6.5 bullet from berger or who ever in a 6.5 around 120 grns that duplicates the idea of the 88 grn 6mm flatbase vld nose bullet for use out to 600yrds.

I have yet to see

Much success with the 6.5 . I wonder why people seem to be interested in it.

take a look at BIB Bullets 6.5's. Randy has another one of those magic Neimi dies for the 6.5. They are pretty damn good.

Speer too

A freind of mine at Speer is also experimenting with light 6.5 mm buulets I got a few small batches of 80 grain flat base, and I also know of an 88 grain flat base with hp, or ballistic (v max) type tip. The problem is they have to see that we as shooters have a need for a short BR quality 6.5 mm flat base. When I asked for them, my thoughts were for score shooting out to 300 meters with a LV gun where the shooter may feel the weight of a .30 br round would cause more cost and recoil than is needed or desired. the 88 grain bullet would go at least 100 fps faster and easier with same BC and less recoil, yet still have a hole size larger than a 6mm. My 6.5 BR with 15 1/2 twist shoots the 80 grainers very good with VV 133 and H 322 powder.
