Kudo's to the small guy

After going to a Gun/Reloading Auction on Sat. and a Gunshow today Sun. I stopped by a small Mom & Pop shop I frequent. I can honestly say I am HUMBLED by their Integrity. The Auction and Gunshow were quite effictive in mimicing the current trend to SQEEZE all they could from consumers in this uncertain climate. Well the owner of the Mom & Pop shop related an account he had this past week. It seems a NEW CUSTOMER came in and wanted all the primers and powder he had in stock for a premium price. This struck as quite strange, so though the course of conversation he found out that this Customer was/is going around to the smaller Mom,Pop shops and buying up powder and primers to be used as INVESTMENT material. Well the old fart gave the customer the what for and sent him on his way. WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE THIS IN THE WORLD.

AMEN!!!

The investor needs taken out behind the woodshed by a couple of large easily irritated lads too.

This a good example

of why, even in times of plenty everyone needs to keep two years ahead on supplies. In the 11 years I have been involved in competative shooting I remember this hapening before. I learned the last time. Buying the big supply in times of plenty isn't hoarding and those who are trying to profit from this situation are likely to get burned . The supply won't be short forever.

Check out the price of primers on gunbrokerdotcom. UNBELIEVABLE.

Pete,
I agree; two years is a good number to be ahead on supplies. Cyclical market fluctuations, wars, supply and demand are hard to predict. A two year supply gives you enough 'look ahead' time to stay well stocked.
