what makes one batch of ammo shoot better than others , their is a difference thats obvious, but why? same machines same bullets same powder all being made at the same very fast rate ....... why?

Wish I knew the answer. I don't! However using Eley as an example, if everything were always the same in manufacture there would never be any Team available, nor maybe black box. Of those three it is my understanding that they all come off the machines the same. After manufacture quality testing determines which box that lot goes in ie red black or blue. Humidity? Powder mix? Lube quality? Ambient temp? The machine operator? Day of the week? (we all know about Monday and Friday cars). Probably each one mentioned has some bearing as well as many others we cannot think of.

Another point. If the manufacturing process were as precise as we want it to be why do we have the large range of speeds we get from Eley. They would all be the same and our bullets would be all killers. They are not, we know that. bob

how much does the primer compound play into this is what i have wondered from time to time. there are alot of things that must play into making killer ammo. i just wished a american company would make it so we could all buy american!!! that is what truely saddens this american.

I suspect there may be some slight variences in priming compound but I'd wager the biggest differences involve bullet seating/ crimping/machine rate related.

Unfortunately, mate, you are just going to have to get over it.
An American Company did make the finest rimfire ammo in the world for a while - the original Federal Ultra Match. What happened to that?

For what it is worth, the current Federal Ultra Match (made by RWS in Germany) shoots very well (sure does in my Hall/Lilja anyway).

It would be wonderful if everything nice could be invented and manufactured in our own country, but that is no longer reality.
Some very long standing and famous Australian brands are now made in China and the like - I don't like it either, but that's life.
