JB Weld

JB Release Agent

If you want to get a receiver out of a stock, apply heat to the receiver with a iron for about 20-25mins.Start applying gentle pressure around 20min and it should come out with ease....

Clear shoe polish works well for bedding...

To keep from having a problem with my nice receivers, I use Mothers carnuba premium car wax. What a shine when I am done!

Johnsons paste floor wax

I use johnsons paste wax. Jim Stekl told me when its polished off
it is 5 millionths thick, I have never had a problem with it in 30 yrs.
Same can.

I normally use paste wax unless I'm bedding a reciever with a lot of complex angles and corners. Then I use the Brownells aerosol release agent or aerosol mold release.

If you're using JB for something other than bedding where the release agent thickness isn't a concern, most any sort of light lubricant works.

Johnsons Paste wax

We use the paste wax as it contains no silicone products which can be a bain to the stock painting later if it is going to be a painted stock

Thanks Guys. I tried the wax and will see how it worked later today.
