Guys I have the opportunity to buy a tasco 24X TS like NIB or a World Class Tasco 24X, is there one that is better than the other, are they both good etc.?

I like the older Japan Tasco's. Have 2 36X used for years, 2 6X24 and one 8x32.
Only the 8x32 not to good over 24x, Others not up to Leupold but work perfect for rimfire or group
shooting and testing high powers. Sold the 8x40 - 56 just TOO big.

There was a period of time when they were very good, maybe even exceptional for the price. That did not last real long, and became a hit or miss proposition. Several owners later they are just another inexpensive Asian scope. I have lost track of the parent group at this point. I still have one of the 8-40 x 56, 30mm tube units. At 36x my T36's or Sightrons are way better units. It is better than a 24x Simmons I have floating around at 24x. As with everything, they do due what they are supposed to at the price point.
