Being a man who has torn apart more than one or two scopes in his lifetime, is there any reason why a guy couldn't mount his scope rotated 90 degrees from normal position? I know how erector systems work and can't think of any harm this might cause but I wanted to double check with a guy who's been into the guts before.

I am a southpaw and the windage knob on my Leupold 36xD gets in the way of my right eye's ability to see the windflags when they are staggered.

I've done it before and it works fine, just switch the turret knobs.

Turn um

I've shot them that way on occassion, depending on which side the loading port is. I've never had a problem.
