Tomball Gun Club
Jackie "with his beleaguered Farley bolt" :D:D:D won the
Texas State 2 gun,3 gun, and 4 gun champion ship today.

The match was contested under "BRUTAL" conditions the entire
weekend!!! From sun up to sundown the wind was blowing
25-30+ MPH.

I just got in off the road. Maybe someone else can supply
more details.

Congradulations Jackie

Congradulations on a great win. It is always nice to see a shooter that does his home work walk away with the wood. It means for the rest of us there is still hope.

Good shooting,Jackie.. Sounds as if things got a bit exciting in the wind.Outstanding job. Best to you and yours;

Seymour Wind

Let-ups were in the 25 mph range. I did not see too many. Had a great time and would like to thank the Seymour Gang for a well run match. A couple of the backers did blow-off, but were quickly repaired. I did not see one target get blown-off..........GW

Congratulations to Jackie
I wish I had gone , but when a loaded 18 wheeler got blown off Rt 75 - just down from my house - I decided I would'nt try to drive the motorhome in that wind. I will make it to the Aug match , as this is one of the best matches to shoot. The Seymour guys know how to put on a Shoot:)

Jackie ...

Congratulations to the "Tiger Woods" of the Gulf Coast Region! It appears all the others are now showing up with the hope of placing second in the aggregates. Good Shootlng. Art

personally i think that jackie had several handicaps in these matches.
the whole bolt issue, wind, and then not compensating for the water in his bbl. this is where experience comes into play.

good job jackie!!!!!

And How About That Steak Dinner!!!!

Friday Night, The "Seymour Stool Shooters", (ie, John Horn, Scott Hunter, Richard Futze, and Ron Mendenhall), treated all of us to a great steak dinner, complete with all of the trimmings. We all got to sit around, eat some great food, enjoy some great friends, and tell some big lies.
It doesn't get much better.......jackie

Thank you to everyone!

I would like to say thanks to everyone that made my experience at the Seymour shoot unforgetable. Their were several people that went way out of their way to make sure I was welcome. A few of them were Larry Bagget, Charles Huckeba, Ronnie Cheek, Glenn Chism and the range officer Charles Sessions. I would also like to thank Richard Futch, John Horn and Scott Hunter for all of the extra time and help they have dedicated to get me started. Without these guys I never would have been introduced to the Bench rest world. Thanks guys, I really appreciate everything you have done for me.
