These are a pair of tuners - design by Jackie Schmidt - thanks to Jackie for doing all the hard part for us. One was a Christmas gift to my Dad the other is on my LV. Not many rounds with it yet, but I won the first match when using it.

Scott failed to mention that at the start of the match he tweaked the tuner to remove some vertical [ irrc ]. Now if you could just tweak the thing to remove the gale force horizontal then life would be sublime :D

Wow, talk about a "carbon copy". I am going to check the ends of my Rifles to see if mine are still there. I think you might have used a "Star Trek Transporter" to transfer mine to yours.

Thanks Jackie, I take that as quite a compliment coming from you.

I followed your recipe and the pics posted about your tuner from many months ago. I am not a machinist, but have access to a lathe. I manage to get them both done without killing myself.

They work? -Yep, I think so. Saturday I started our match preloaded (it was 34F - didn't want to load outside) and shot about 6-8 rounds at 200 yards. I had about 1/2" of vertical. I turned the tuner out about 1/4 turn and the vertical seemed to go away. Didn't touch it the rest of the day. Ray is correct though - with 20+mph wind, a tuner will not do anything to help the 2" of horizontal.

I am packing now, headed to the Shamrock ....We will see if my "luck" holds.
