Jackie Schmidt Shoots A Perfect 25x (100) At Louisiana State Championship.

Jackie fired an perfect 25x at 100 yards this morning garnering top honors in the VFS 100 yard agg. Nick Marino was 2nd shooting an impressive 24x. Thats all the info I was given as the 200 was about to start.

Jackie was NOT using his record setting Kreiger 1-18 he screwed on his older battle tested Kreiger 1-17 witch is obviously shooting very well. Jackie is saving his record setting barrel for a up coming match. =)

I'll post the 200 yard agg and grand agg results when I gettem.

Nick Marino won the 200yardage and grand agg in the afternoon and went on to take top honors and is the new Louisiana State VFS Champion!!! =)

Jackie kept it going at 200 with a 250/9X....BUT, that was not enough to win the grand. Nick Marino shot 250/14X for a 500/38X. Congratulations to Nick and to all of those who upped the bar. I understand that the first three places were all 500's. Good shooting...James
 
I just got home, laid all my targets out on a flat surface, and without my reticle, can see 19 or 20 wipeouts. A couple more I could reticle an they might make it as well.

Nick kicked our butts at 200, bested me by 5 X'S, 14 to nine to take the Grand Agg win. Nick put away his 30 and shot a 6PPC at 200. Great Shooting, Nick..........jackie

This is a good example that all the talk in the other thread about wipeouts at 100 yds really doesn't mean that much. The match is usually won at 200 yds. Nick could have shot 21X at 100 and still won the match.

25X at 100 IS a great accomplishment, congrats to Jackie on that and to Nick on the win.
 
I nominate Jackie to be on the next season of Topshot!
