We had conditions as good this match as they were bad a month ago. So everyone was trying to shoot screamers instead of just hoping to shoot a target without DQ'ing!!
There were a few screamers shot, too. A lot of folks strive hard to shoot one screamer in their lifetime, but we had a couple guys who shot two screamers in one day - congratulations!
Jim Bauer shot two screamers in Light Gun - 2.156" and 3.495". Edward Nazy shot 2 screamers in Heavy Gun - 4.969" and 4.652". Al Forbes shot a 3.716" screamer in Light Gun. That's some great shooting, guys!!

Relay winners: Group: Al Forbes 3.716" and Jim Bauer 2.156". Score: Joe Panici 46-1x and Joe Thielen 47.
Match winners: Jim Bauer won Group with 3.495" and Joe Thielen won Score with a 49.
Match 3 Heavy Gun:
Relay winners: Group: Edward Nazy 4.969" and TD O'Connell 8.449". Score: Al Forbes 96-6x and Joe Thielen 97-4x.
Match winners: Edward Nazy won Group w/ 6.728" and Al Forbes took Score w/ 94-1x.
Match 3 Varmint Gun:
Sally Bauer won Group w/ 10.228" and Joe Panici won Score w/ 43.
Match 4 Light Gun:
Relay winners: Group: Dean Walther 6.941", Joe Thielen 5.091". Score: Randy Stephens 49-1x and Al Forbes 49-2x.
Match Winners: Dean Walther won Group w/ 8.072" and Randy Stephens won Score w/ 45.
Match 4 Heavy Gun:
Relay winners: Group: Bob Pastor 7.672", Edward Nazy 8.103". Score: Craig Anderson 90-1x, and Al Forbes 86.
Match Winners: Edward Nazy won Group w/ 4.652" and Craig Anderson won Score w/ a 90.
Match 4 Varmint Gun:
Group: Joe Panici 6.943" and Score: Sally Bauer 41-1x
Our next match is our Iowa State Championship match on June 19. This will also be the last match we shoot at our existing range, so I hope to see a lot of you there to help us make this a memorable match.
