Interesting....reactions?

I think it makes a nice project for guys like myself who likes to tinker. I can probably dovetail this one to the DRO driven project I started a year ago.

Not really sure on the jig rigidity though. Maybe triggered pneumatic clamping and release and triggered carriage forward and reverse with simple relay logic toggling the VFD. The way my VFDs are wired I can go from forward to reverse without activating the stop botton. Just thinking out loud.

I actually like it for function.
I hate trying to stop close to a shoulder.
The brake i am about to put on specs a mere .060 from end
of thread to face. Brake mounts the suppressor.

Really neat. Creative. The operator had to overcome a lot of variables in order to get it to function as well as it does.

It is one of the most unique solutions to a non existent problem that I have ever seen.
