Sorry if I've missed the answer to my question elsewhere.

Just got my jug today. Side by side it looks just like Benchmark to me.
Has anyone ever figured out what this stuff is?
Is it really a new powder?
I previously thought it might be Benchmark 1 but the burn rate is off.
Just wonderin.

Looks like I'm gonna have to rig up a drop tube for this stuff. Maybe even a crunch stick:)

Thanks for all you folks sharing results.

Thanks goodgrouper.
That should satisfy my curiosity.
The targets what really counts anyway.

Down to the ammo dump to cause mischief and mayhem!!!

Rumor has it that the 8208xbr is nothing more than an out of speck run of 20,000 pounds Benchmark that was made back in 01 or round about. I guess we will know the truth if this powder suddenly becomes unavailable. The Aussies may know more. Maybe thats the reason the money Lou was going to advance wasn't needed. The powder was already made...As Gammon would say..EHH!!!

P.S. I didn't start this. But it is a good one. I will leave the culprit nameless. lol

I think we just had this discussion......

And Lou, and Hogdon Representative, castigated the naysayers. I think the general jest of the castigation was "people who new nothing about the situation giving opinions".

jo191145: The upper end load is actually easier to get in a 6PPC case that the same velocity charge of 133.......jackie
