imr 8208 xbr lot codes ??

i have rec'd my second lot of powder....

the last four numbers match my prior lot.....

are the numbers before the last four, just a date code for packaging ?

anyone know ?

xbr code

the code for xbr is
first digit - package size (1 or 8 #)
2nd - 7th - month, day, year
rest - lot number

at least that is what I was told when I queried IMR....
