A well deserved and hard earned award indeed.

IBS 1000 Yard shooter of the year

Female and Rookie 1000 yard IBS shooter of the year was Shannon Ammerman and IBS Junior Shooter of the year was Clay Earhart. I shot against these two at the IBS 1000 yard Nationals this year at Quantico Virginia, Shannaon who is a regular at Williamsport, won the IBS Light Gun Overall National Championship.
Clay came in second in the Light Gun Overall and won the Junior IBS Light Gun National Championship. Congrats to these two fine shooters. I hope Shannon will compete at more IBS matches in 2008 and I am sure Clay will continue shooting at North Carolina's Hawks Ridge. Two very fine and tough competitors and I look forward to shooting with them in 2008.
