One other thing.
There is generally quite a bit of back and forth play in the objective assyemby's inner sleeve. When you focus it, then tighten the locking ring, it will push the inner assy back , causing the scope to go out of focus. What you have to do is turn the objective clockwise, snugging the front locking ring untill all of the slack is out, and the scope is in focus............jackie
I waterboard mine....they tend to stay more "focused" that way...
