How did you decide on which wide stance bipod to use for F TR ?? With all the differences and models available.
Thanks again

Bi-pods

look at what the winners are using.....not to be a copy cat....but they didn't win because of bad equipment.

Anybody using Sinclair Gen 3 with Elevation Knob?

Have you observed any flexing in this model?

Thanks.

I have two I use the Mpod http://www.mysticprecision.com/wp/1709/mystic-precision-ftr-mpod-1lb-installed/ and the Third Eye Tactical EVO bipod http://shop.ospreyrifles.com/evo-f-class-bipod-101-p.asp I like both But I am useing the EVO now it works better with the stock I have now. Sinclair have some nice ones http://www.sinclairintl.com/shooting-rests-bipods/bipods-monopods/index.htm. I hope this helps there are more out there.

That EVO is a sharp looking unit , seems rugged too. Is there anyone stateside carrying these ?

BiPods

The Sinclair has some flex.
With Canadian dollar so low compared to US dollar some good deals in Canada.
Only problem with these two models you need a rail installed on forend but both these are rock solid.only problem with Remple its heavy 3 lbs star shooter is under 2 lbs google Star shooter there in Quebec

I dislike bipods on general principal so prefer to not use one. I can shoot with a sling and sandbag support or I can use a pedestal rest with two feet (BI-pod) which is loosely attached to the rifle (lanyard). The whole bipod thing is antithetical to the original intent of "F" class. The original rules called for any rest, other than return-to-battery, including a sack of horsefeathers, if so desired. Unfortunately, just as nature abhors a vacuum, people seem to abhor simplistic rules so here we are. Regards, Bill

.

I would strongly suggest to take a look at SEB Joypod bipod.

Lots of great shooters winning with it. It may take a little to get used, but once you get it right, it is the easiest bipod to shoot!
