Since no one had any outdoor airgun matches schedule and I was running a rimfire shoot. Brought out the indoor benches for airgun. Bad timing as a FT match was schedule and shot notice only three showed up. The weather was going down hill each target. When the 76 yard match started the wind was 20-30 with gusts even higher.

Mark Normindin HV TM-1000 240 7X, 233 1X, 238 6X, 711 14X

Brad Niese Open Stock M-Rod 210 3X, 215 1X, 223 1X, 648 5X (front rest farley)

Franky Monroe Production M-Rod 198 1X, 202 3X, 215 2X, 615 6X (front and rear bags)

We then moved out the targets to 76 yards and shot the B-40 10 meter Air Pistol Targets

Mark did very well in the 30 MPH wind with gusts even higher. 16 of 20 shots in the Black with two targets all 5 shots in the black.

Range 25 meters flags calm before the storm.

Not sure how Brad and Franky did with the M-Rods as I was scoring the rimfire targets.

Thanks for all the help in setup and take down. See you Oct 13 for the last outdoor match at Holbrook.

The weather sounds like it was horrible, that was quite a storm yesterday. On the bright side you saved a couple Gs worth of travel expense by having your own extreme benchrest match;) Looking forward to your indoor shoots Paul.

Dan,
Mark left his B-40 targets on the backer so I scored them 5 shots on 4 targets. 41,38,38,40 for a 157 out of 200.

His sighter target had all the X's. Was fun and will do it again Oct 13. Need to make more target frames. With 6 wooden benches and maybe two concrete benches will take care of 8 shooters in one relay.

Paul,
I shot a 24, 19, 23, and 34 for a total of 100 and no x's for the 76 yard shoot. I had a great time, looking forward to next month in and outdoor shoots!
Thanks again Paul for all your hard work!

Paul,
As always you are a most gracious Host, despite all the work you did to put on a AG and RF ( which you shot in ) match at the same time. That Devil wind just kept gaining in strength until at the 76yd targets I was holding off 3-4" per side in between gust, interesting indeed. Thanks for the Hospitality and I'm looking forward the Oct. Shoots.

Mark
