Though day on the indoor range with a-30 wind chill. Mark M rebuilt his regulator and didn't get a chance to test it. Chris put on a shroud on his Thomas shot awful, took it off shot a 250 third target put it back on and shot awful. Welcome back Mark N. From a two year hiatus!
Had two 10,000 BTU heaters at the firing line to help with the -30 wind chill.

Thanks Paul for sticking with us during the shoot! Certainly was cold!
In fairness to the shroud, it was my first shoot with it and it may simply need some small adjustments.
I know the other shrouds have apparently shot very well and it certainly quiets the Thomas's bark!
More testing ahead!!

Chris, can you tell if the shroud is clipping the pellets? My shroud on my AZ Theoben would take a big chunk off the pellet. I was shooting into a 4" PVC pipe filled with cotton batting. Then Dan Brown said it was easer to fire into a 5 gal pail of water.. Easer to find the pellet.
I shot today and could load with a Bobby pin tool at my house and could insert at least 7 out of 10 pellets. Might be shooting at the next match. Might even check the weather at Salem this weekend and shoot on Sunday..will be the first time since the National's.

Paul, thanks for the suggestions....I'll give it a shot : )

Good luck in Salem if you head up there!

Paul,
Sounds like your hands have improved substantially.
So glad to hear it.
Dave

Thank You Paul

Paul,

Thanks for the pic of the new NOTA rest. Takes some getting used to but a keeper.
Nice image of the BulzEyePro and Parallax Killer on the scope.
I believe that contributed to my 750 in HV.
The poor LV score was my fault for not tightening the hammer spring lock nut.
That won't happen again.
Mike and I are testing the shroud. No clipping so far but seems to shoot better with some
barrels more than others. It happens to group very well with 2 of my polys.

Lets all keep Dave in our prayers. He has a very bumpy road ahead.
