I want to full length size a round, fill it with epoxy and headspace adding .002. Pros and cons?
It will work, but why, when you can buy a proper HS gage for around $30.

There is such a thing called SAAMI, if you build a gun for sale it should fall within their specs. Ammo is made to a spec. The idea is that ammo will interchange with guns. I get my HS gages at work in .001" increments, so we can actually measure the HS, not just GO or NO-GO. For example, 7.62mm Nato, the EPVAT barrel is chambered to 1.628" and the M700 accuracy barrel is set at 1.630" which is SAAMI min. The 1.628" is to allow for the clearance in a Universal Receiver. What's a "proper" hs gage? I order mine at .006 under SAAMI. Headspace is a choice, not a thing.
This rifle is built by me for me so don’t care about saami. Yes, it’s to fit the die with .002 clearance. Sure, I could adjust the die or shave the case holder, but I was just curious. Good discussion guys
As for proper hs gauges, I have had saami gauges from different companies that were not matching

Just make sure barrel is well marked with chamber information. It can save a future owner many headaches.
Too True!
I once had a barrel chambered and marked '.268nk 6br Match' by a gunsmith.....
Thinking nothing of it I made up brass and started shooting...... WILD pressure spikes!
Long story but in the end I requested a reamer print (which he didn't want to supply) so I mentioned I'd call the reamer maker and he finally, GRUDGINGLY sent me a print... while mentioning "Ohhh, I forgot, that reamer is also .010 short in the neck for case prep"
!!!!
1.550 length reamer.....
That's one of the reasons I started buying my own reamers, and using gunsmiths who not only supplied reamer prints if asked they also took the time to have a conversation re what to put on the barrel. COMPLETE description mandatory.
Now that I'm building them I write a friggin' note on the barrel....
LOL!!
yup
