November Match.
13 competitors in the sporter class.
14 shooting 10.5 with 1 D.Q.
15 shooting 13.5
11 shooting unlimited

Conditions were very nice; the morning started off at a cool 59 F. with a light fog that burned off quickly, warming up to 71 F. and partly cloudy.
The wind was light and switchy 3-10 mph.

We had a few shooters come in from out of town for this match.

Conley Whiddon returned again from Lakeland, Florida and Ernie Jenderko is back with us for the winter season.

If any consider coming down for match, all are welcome and consider this.

We shoot all year long.
We have no snow days.
Last Christmas Day was 85 F. and Sunshine.
We think a bad winter day is 40 F. with overcast, but will not cancel a match.
Some of us have charming and engaging personalities.
Eat Great seafood.

What a great place to shoot

I want to thank Bill for “getting after me to come”, and to Bill and Mike for making the trip to Jacksonville. Both of these fellows are new shooters, one shooting a new Messer built Hall and to Mike shooting a Smith built Suhl. It great to have new shooters come in and do so well – this was Mike first win and he will be having many more. Just wait until his Sporter is finished, we’ll all be in trouble.
So many new faces in Jacksonville – it was great, and the food at Trent’s is just as good as the last time I was there.

Conditions

That's why always try and put you in the "Honey Hole"- we know how you get when you don't do well. BTW those condition comments were from the "Honey Hole"- Down on the right where the two berms meet at 90 degrees- the far flags track one berm and the near track the other unless the wind is from 9 o'clock. Just like any other range. I've shot my best and worst at Kettlefoot and never won anything of significance at Gateway.
