has died I was told today. He was one heck of a hunter rifle shooter, a great person to share time with at a shoot and a top shelf gunsmith. He could do everything from soup to nuts! RIP Gary.

One of my best memories of shooting benchrest was the times Gary and Helen came to Vermont to shoot with us. Just about every bench at one time or another had a "Gary Long rifle" on it. My condolences to the family and God bless.
