You replied nice try, you obviously missed something because it wasn't a try at anything but a question to you about the work that you do. If you are such an expert on that particular wood, surely you are a decent gun builder as well. I just would love to see some of your work and not the work of others done for you.
The rifle work you described to us sounds pretty basic as far as custom gun work is concerned. I haven't see a truly one of a kind before and was hoping you might show it to us or at least some of your own work. If you would rather avoid this, just say so.
Let me speak plainer for you then, I don't care if there is more to the story! I really don't appreciate it when someone verbally provokes someone like you did when someone makes a suggestion to them. Especially not in a condescending way like you did.
If there is more to the story, keep it to yourselves, don't bring it up here if you can't or won't talk about it.
To me, and again this is just myself speaking, the wood looks muddied up way too much to be attractive. You of course are welcome to love it. I just have seen a lot prettier wood that doesn't take over the eye when you see it like those blanks do.
