I want to congratulate Dean Breeden on his extraordinary performance at the Bud Pryor this weekend. On the way to winning the 2011 Flying Fish Fundamentals Challenge, Dean set 2 new potential IBS records. He shot a 1000-52X 2 gun for 100-200 yards and a 747-26x 1,2,3 agg for Hunter Benchrest. Dean was one of very few who shot 250's at 200 yards Saturday, and he did it twice, with a 6X Hunter and a VFS. He was definitely the Top Gun at the Bud this weekend.

And to add to the congrats, and to seed for next year, Dean asked that the $200 from this year's FFF Challenge be rolled over till 2012. So next year, there will be an even bigger cash award to the winner of the Challenge. Plan on being in Maryland second weekend of June 2012 to try and take it home.

You missed one. Dean also shot a 497-11X for a new (potential) 200-300 aggregate record, besting his record score last year by 1 point.

And special congrats to Dean Breeden on his potential Two Gun Score record. :cool: The previous record was 999-52X set at the Holmen Rod and Gun Club by R.G. Robinett on 7/24/05.

250's @ 200 yds. with a 6 Power scope are exceedingly rare with only a handful shot each season. And 500's with a 6 Power are even rarer. To put it into perspective, Mr. Breeden never missed the '10' ring with 100 record shots (Hunter plus VfS)....plus hitting the 'X' 52% of the time.

that will be 4 records he has broken in a year''s time. Dean has been hiding his light under a buhel all these years, as far as the mastery of the 6x is concerned. Perhaps he was just waiting until the record totals got bigger :). The next one should be the 250-25 @100. Probally got to go to Sulphyr Springs for that one, eh? Congratulations Dean. I am pleased to see you shooting so well.
