Flash Ebert custom gun ?

I recently purchased a gun at an estate auction it was listed as a E A Brown model 97D custom built by Flash Ebert with a 21” stainless steel bull barrel chambered in 17 HMR only problem is it has a center fire action I am currently waiting for a call back from e a brown they are looking up the serial number to see what the gun was originally. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I visited Flash's shop many years ago, a few years before he passed. Nice lad was Flash.
