Feedng older Turbos

I have one of the older Turbos that has it's feed ramp located a lot lower than it should be to allow for efficient feeding. I am wondering if someone has come up with a successful modification that provides better feeding? I am wondering if the bolt could be thinned and the loading ramp shimmed or a new feeding ramp built that would also fill the excess space in front of the stock ramp?

Thanks,

Pete

Shimming the feed ramps was commonly done on the early Turbos

Feed Ramp

Pete,
Bill made some new feed ramps for the older Turbo action with mixed results (some just did not fit)
The net result is they might need some tweaking.
If I had an older turbo I would give one a try because the old feed is horrible!!
Based on what I have heard they could require some work/modification but in my mind they are well worth a try.
Just a Thought,
Doug

P.S. The new Turbo's feed GREAT!

It's still in the works I guess.
