Federal match primers

Now that the 205 federal match primers seem to be unavailable, I see a listing for federal AR small rifle 205 primers, are they the same? I hope to get an answer before I pay the extortion price on gunbroker!!

Federal Match Primers

Do not buy the 205AR just buy the standard 205's. I have shot both 205m's and the 205's with no difference noticed.

Difference in AR primers

I am told they have a harder cup to help prevent slam fires. I have never had a slam fire using regular 205 primers.

A local gun shop has some Federal GMM small AR primers.

Anyone has any experience with these is a accurate bolt gun?

I use CCI 41s, which are similar and made for AR type rifles in a 6 Beggs, Remington action. They shoot very well for me. I chose to use them as the 6 Beggs load I use is very warm and I was getting cratered primers with BR-4s. The harder cup works well.

I flip flop between 205, 205M and Win SR. Scores are about the same....
