I think this should become an endless thread and see how far it can get with Wilber's permission of course. It's great to have a discussion without my dad can beat up your dad jabs. Goodgrouper would you agree?

Yes. It's fun to see who likes what kind of music. I guessed a few folks preferences right, but most of them have been a surprise.

Here is some Rush trivia. Who was the Canadian back up band for Rush during the Moving Pictures tour? Geddy also made a guest appearence on one of their albums.

Hey, while we're talking Rush among fans here, I want to share with you guys something you may not know of. I learned this two years ago and it was one of those music moments I won't ever forget. I found out that Rush actually made an album in between their first album and Fly By Night. It was a live recorded album (in the first city that let them have a concert--Cleveland) with some new stuff, some stuff off the first album, some stuff from the yet unreleased third album, some covers, and it's the first recordings of Rush with their new drummer--Neil Peart. If you remember, John Rutsey was their original drummer but had to leave the band after the first album due to health problems. So they cut some new tracks and made an album that was never officially released called, "Fifth Order Of Angels". Check it out. The whole album can be found in the suggested videos or at the uploader's youtube page (mrrush1974).

I wasnt at the Agora for that show a little before my time but I saw some great bands at the Cleveland Agora. Saw Blackfoot there for a daytime "coffee-break" concert the place caught on fire later that evening. It was a pretty small hall but they really had some great acts grace the stage there.

Wow. I just learned something. I knew of Kim Mitchell as a solo artist but had no idea he was the lead singer of Max Webster. The band name came from a friend of his Max who happened to live on Webster drive. Got to love the I-net.

And your from Canada? Just kidding you hoser

OK...... show of hands........ HOW MANY have argued over the lyrics of Manfred Mann's 'Blinded By The Light?'

If you get a chance to see Walter Trout live, make sure and go. When I saw him at an outdoor show, he brought the house down and stole the spotlight from headliner Kenny Wayne Shepherd. He was playing the same thrashed out Stratocaster he plays in this video. I mean, the man is relentless when he plays!
