Was this action originally a .223 or something similar with a smaller case?
If so, the ejector mark is due to the ejector being in the unsupported portion of the case head, where there used to be no internal pressure, if that makes sense. Typicaly, action mfgrs don't place the ejector to touch nearly that much of the base of the case.
Ie, ejector is too far inboard in the bolt face. I'd just live with it and go find the load that shoots using other indicators of pressure cause this one is false.
