It was a wonderful day at Easthampton. The morning stayed fairly cool, but without any definite conditions; just twitching flag tails. Bob Griffin made the most of the 3-Gun, dropping only 2 points over the course. Pete Roberson nailed a 250 with his Sporter; and Bob Griffin and Bob Hill scored 250's in the 13.5 Class.

After lunch, as the Unlimited match started, the heat began rising. The sand base of the Easthampton range brought out the thermal ghosts causing moans and groans across the line. Bob Griffin and Bill Buskey still managed 250's in UL-1.

Thanks to Al and Penny for help in compiling scores and to everyone who pitched in on the clean-up. You're a great group of people. I totally enjoyed the match and your company.

Dave -- Maryellen says you are forgiven and there may be a special dessert just for you at the next match. :rolleyes:

Kudos on the 250 with the Sporter Pete. I lust in my heart to shoot one :). Great shooting everyone else.

Yes is was "... a wonderful day at Easthampton". Thanks for a well run match and a very relaxing and enjoyable time.

And of course a big thanks to Maryellen for the goodies.

I hate to squeal on Dave but I did see him munching on some of those brownies.

I had a great time at yesterday's shoot. I want to thank you for putting on another get match. Hopefully you can join on the rest of the year's matches! It was great to shoot with Al and Penny, Walt, Mr. Barrett, my Dad and Dave,and anyone who I'm forgetting. Nice 250 with the sporter Pete! Bill and Bob excellent shooting! I want to thank Gordon Eck for building that sweet rifle. Thanks for the nice lunch and Maryellen's super good brownies...it made the trip home that much more enjoyable.. We'll see you all soon!
