Do we have a company making gun powder here in the US? I think it's all imported.
Alliant makes powder in Radford, VA Part of the ATK group of products.
Dale
Yes, and now Alliant has been bought out by BAE (British Aerospace). More confusing, I have a friend who works at the Radford Arsenal plant as a product manager and he is on the payroll of Federal!!
If "We The People" don't force Congress to stop this insanity of exporting all the jobs "We The People" will not last much longer as a nation!!
I think powder is still being made at the Winchester St. Marks plant in Florida isn't it?

The plant was never owned by Winchester, and Olin (parent company which used to own the Winchester trademark) sold it to General Dynamics about 10 years ago. St Marks Powder is presently still a subsidiary of GD, and all they make is ball and flake powder.I think powder is still being made at the Winchester St. Marks plant in Florida isn't it?
