Denton will be holding its monthly match this Sunday.
The match will be a 100 yard score in the morning and 100 yard group after lunch. Bench drawing will be at 9:00 and we shot at 10:00. The good news is the Trieth road bridge has opened up so its smooth sailing all the way to the club.. The local Bar-BQ guy will have his usual good food at a good price. The match fee is $25.00 and you need to sign in at the front office.

Me and John Dumas are planning on being there.
Got my 30BR done and so far it's shooting OK.. Need bit more work
to get it really humming! I think I'll be competitive with it this weekend.... Hopefully. ..!

Good to hear you guys are coming out. You know the best thing about shooting a 30 at Denton is there’s a lot of good information floating around.
 
Now you boys take it easy on me now..., I haven't been down to Denton since '05 an to top it all off haven't sat behind or shot a benchgun since May 10th, but I'm lookin forward to gettin back into the groove. :)

Possible Back up Rest...

Myself an Cale Roby will be attending the Denton match tomorrow an I was curious if anyone who is also attending the match might have a spare front rest that I could use for the match? I have pretty much everything else (Rifle, Rear bag, an Reeloading equip.) just the front rest is the only thing I lack.


Any help would greatly appreciated :)

I forgot to get the results. James usually posts them after he gets some rest.
We really enjoy you Oklahoma boys coming down and hope to see you next time.
By the way, you almost went home with the whole thing. That was a great display of shooting along with a fine 30 6PPC barrel.

Sorry about not getting the results posted yet. I hibrinated Monday after doing 12 hours Sunday night. I'll try and post them in the morning.
