cz custom sporter

looks good, will be watching for some score postings. just might start seeing some cz's on the custom firing line:)

Sighted it in yesterday and took a few shoots shots with just one windflag. Very promising. It rides the bag beautifully. LAst match of the season is this morning. We shall see...

Thanks, Bob

LAst match. First 5 shoots were 10-10x-8-10x-9. I picked the wrong wind conditions and spent 20 minutes on my first 5 shoots. The rest was a bust but not because of the gun. I did'nt even have time to shoot the bottom row.

I have to wait until next year to see how it does in competetion. Maybe I can get one other really good shooters to try it in a match. I know one thing... this rifle is more then enough for me until I become a much better competitor. THanks for a great thread.

Bob

Bob, nothing beats trigger time and shooting in the wind. check out some of the scores posted on this forum from the nationals. they are amazing scores for any benchrest rifle and even more amazing being 6.5 scopes. anytime you can shoot 9's and 10's you have a nice shooting rifle.

Thanks Martin.

Final Note:

Gun actually wieghed in at 7 lb even on the digital scale at my club. My local machine shop is making me a stainless Steel butt plate this week. My gunsmith said I could possibly make further accuracy adjustments by adjusting the tension on the one bolt that holds it the stock. I might put a higher power scope on it and do some testing indoors this winter.

I would love to hear more on how you guys are doing with your CZ's

Thanks, Bob
