Custom Rimfire actions

Do any of the custom action builders ... Hall, Turbo, Time, etc produce an action for 17HMR? I know Anschutz produces a number of rifles on the 64 & 54 actions .. and Cooper of course. Thanks in advance.
 
Hall, Turbo, Time, etc only build Actions. My guess is that most gunsmiths could barrel them for the 17 HMR. :rolleyes: (My Guess)
 
Custom Rimfire Actions

I believe the 17 HMR case head is a bit larger than a 22 rimfire. Wouldn't the bolt have to be modified significantly .. extractor and perhaps firing pin location ... I don't know.

It is my understanding that the .17 HMR is a .22 rimfire magnum necked down to .17 caliber, so unless I am wrong, and if I am you can be sure I'll hear about it, any .22 rimfire bolt should work with the .17 HMR.

Note: After posting, I measured the rim diameter of a .17 HMR and a .22 RF. The .17 HMR measured .289" and the .22 rf measured .274. I still believe that the .22 rf bolt will work
