Custom Arbor Press Seat Die

Now that the Wilson stainless micrometer seat die is available as a blank, I have finished up several of them for myself and a friend. I found the stainless blank a fair amount tougher than the carbon steel blanks. The carbon steel Wilson uses cuts like butter, the stainless is a bit more like barrel steel.

What is a reasonable price to charge for finishing a blank seat die including cut to length, indicate the reamed section of the blank to run true and straight, pre drill, re-indicate, prebore, finish ream with the a chamber reamer matching the customer's rifle, finish and mark with the cartridge ID?

I would say

as much as a fitting a barrel would be a fair price.

The price that most of the smiths charge seems to high until you make one. They don't look like much but to get them to make straight rounds is very time consuming.
