I have just received notification that KL Millers two Potential Varmint Hunter records both became official. Kl had a heck of a year winning the 6 Power SSOY competition by a wide margin.

Congratulations K.L.

It is also interesting to note in the attached data not one single 250-25x aggregate was approved by the Records committee. I find it interesting with all the speculation there was a couple years back about what were we going to do with all the 250-25x's being shot that with about 100 IBS score matches shot last year and probably around 1000 aggregate not one single 250-25x made it past record committee scrutiny.

Here ya go, guys…

I had the pleasure to shoot with KL a few times this year and it was amazing to watch him put on his 6x "clinic" at each match. Up in VT at 200yds he shot 4 solid 10's (don't remember the x's) and started packing up his gear. A selfless competitor notified him that he still had one more to go with time running out. He quickly set up his gear, shot a solid 10 in the sighter, went up to the record and nailed another 10. While this may not seem difficult to some, from what I have gathered by watching other 6x shooters, the sighter target is used very conservatively and it is easy to get lost especially if you have broken your concentration. Not to mention that 10's are NOT a given at 200yds for VFS or 6x.
Great competitor, and a great supporter of score benchrest.

Congrats, KL.
Mike

Congratulations K, I think that most of us folks that shot against you, would agree, that you helped us to shoot better. Watching you and trying to compete amounted to a year long clinic. As a fairly new shooter, thanks. It really was a ---- load of fun. Cheers and have a great New Year. Charles
