No doubt this issue has been dealt with before but.... I have trouble with the search function for some reason. I also did not know which forum to ask on. I am looking to purchase a runout gauge. There are several advertised on BRC. All look good and thus the cunundrum. Bruno sells one. The one H&H offers looks pretty good to me? Anybody know how much this one costs? There is also one offered by Kinneman Custom products. This one says it can straighten your ammo.??? Seems to me that one should simply fix the cause of the improperly assembled round as determined with the appropriate, most accurate tool. Input please? Thanks

Call Bud Welsh, makes a superior device. Needs a high end indicator, which means, not cheap. Be prepared to drive yourself crazy in the process but the numbers don't lie.

Laser ...

Here is one that has served me well. Without the indicator: $82.50. Sinclair International 800-717-8211. Art

Want to solve the problem

Buy Lesters.
I have the Forster and the Sinclair and they both do a great job of telling you what you want to know. But Lester's allows you to correct the situation in a very brief time. I suppose you are speaking of the 6PPC cartridge? :)
