Carl Easton Wins "X FEST" at Tomball

Unusualy mild conditions produced some really great scores spread throughout the field as Carl Easton topped the Benchrest Class with a great 250 23x. Behind him was four shooters with 22x's, three with 21x's, and three with 20x's.

This makes for two straight wins for Carl at Tomball, as he took top honors in "The Battle of San Jacinto" at the NBRSA Registered Varmint for Score Match two week ends ago.

We had a total of 21 shooters in the Benchrest Class, 6 in the Modified, and 4 in the Factory.

I got off to a slow start and just couldn't make any ground up on the leaders. The Tomball bunch is really gettin tuff to beat.:eek:

Congrats to Carl Easton, Faron Fredrick and Paul King on their big wins!!! ;)
 
Good shooting Paul, Faron, and Carl. You guys got the job done yesterday.
Tomball competition is getting tougher every match no matter what class you might pick to shoot in. There are no gimmies!
