Another good turnout to yesterday's match with 9 Sporter shooters, 10 LV and HV shooters and 11 UL shooters. The rain was finished by 7:00 AM and we all knows what follow a Cold Front, eh?

Pete W discovered he had left his Sporter Bolt in the Gun Safe at home and it was Gary Hamilton to the rescue with the loan of a lovely little Anschutz that liked some of Pete's Blue Box stuff. Thanks so much Gary :).

The rest of the day seemed to go pretty well with one of our new shooters Placing for the first time. Congrats Joe, that's gettein er done bud!

Pete,
Thanks for running the shoots at Capitol City. Glad Gary had a spare sporter for you to use. You even took first place with it!
It was nice meeting an old shooting friend that moved to Maine 18 years ago. He is new to benchrest and did well with the 3 gun match shooting his sporter at all three targets.

Congrats to Pete, Gary and Steve for shooting 250's on a very tough day. Steve used his 40X factory barrel, DCM program gun, and a low power barrel mounted Unertil scope!!! I love it. Great shooting Steve.

I will miss the July 1 shoot but will make most of the others.

Paul
