Capital City Maine's first Sporter SOTY

We were greeted by very windy conditions at the beginning of our first Sporter SOTY match yesterday afternoon, which did not subside for the duration. Winds were sort of steady gusts at 10 to 20 and of course, switchy in our "Shoe Box". Some pretty good scores were put up, in spite of the wind and they are as follows:

Sporter 1

1. Pete Wass 249-14
2. Joe Jerrier 243-4
3. Gary Hamilton 239-6

Sporter 2

1. Pete Wass 246-15
2. Gary Hamilton 244-7
3. Klayton Hayes 239-7

Sporter 3

1. Pete Wass 246-13
22. Joe Jerrier 242-2
3. Dave Piccuito 239-6

Sporter Agg.

1.Pete Wass 741-42
2. Gary Hamilton 721-27
3. Klayton Hayes 714-16

I wish to thank everyone for helping set up, take down and help, in general. I certainly could not have done it alone. We were hampered somewhat by the construction. We also shot out in the open for the first time ( my first time since I started back in 94 ) All and all a great turnout and a super start to our Sporter program.
