Calfee Question

Hi,
As per your thread and sugestions.
I have made a test bed to check the
Wobble? of the head of a rimfire cartridge.
You mentioned this could be used in sorting
ammo that would shoot out of the groop-flyers.
Now for the question.
What is the tollerances of run out.
I have a digital camera,can send pictures by e-mail
BUT don't know how to post.By posting a picture
you could see the fixture HELP.

The fact that this term was actually quoted on this forum almost made me fall out of my chair laughing.

I guess you could refer to Bill as "OG Calfee" from now on...

It appears that in Wilbur's absense, the Super Moderator and the Funny People finally won out. It took them a long time but in the end ....... Eureka!

I recall that Bill said Selby Wright used a tenth indicator ( .0001") with his device. Hope that helps.

You apparently do not understand what has happened. There are several super moderators... non have the ability to do what Wilbur does. The title is more of a joke than a meaningful title...

Wilbur is the one who has put Bill "on hold". When that happens the general membership can not view anything Bill has posted. The threads are still there, except for the threads Bill deleted. If Wilbur decides to reinstate Bill, the threads will reappear. (Except for the threads Bill deleted)

I would like to add that the several of us "super moderators" are empowered with a few features that enable us to edit out fowl language that is beyond necessary to make a point and delete any spam or porn. We all know that our judgement is flawed and we are not perfect. Although I have never personally met any other super moderator or Wilbur, I respect them all. I believe that we moderators could be replaced randomly off the rostrum by any of you and little would change.

If you read enough of these threads you will see the best of people, as well as, flaws in people.

We gain knowledge in the pursuit of ultimate firearm accuracy and friendships with other shooters on this site. We can all do without the tragic personal conflicts that sometimes we see on this site. It diminishes us.

Dennis, what about the "big thread"? You were doing a good job of keeping it running, but then you did something that I knew would be the end of it. You started your own thread, with a disasterous result. I'm saying this here instead of a PM to you because I want everyone to know how I feel about what happened. Why didn't you just leave well enough alone? Please do not respond with "Bill deleted it himself", it may be true and prolly is, but it's a broken recoerd.

About the vulgarity post supposedly attributed to Bill, my opinion, it was a sharp keyboard hacker who posted it. How many of you have ever read a post by Calfee where he did a personal attack against a member of this board?

Dennis is nowhere near fault as you imply.

I gave Bill the leeway to have a single thread where nobody could post but himself. Dennis simply enforced the concept. The reason for that thread was two-fold. First, it restored some order to the forum where Bill was starting a new thread everytime somebody posted a logical rebuttal and second, it organized Bill's posts such that one could see that there was not really anything of substance within. The thread failed its purpose firstly when Bill discovered that wasn't really what he wanted and reverted...and secondly when it became clear that I was the perhaps the only one that couldn't find said substance.

My action to place Bill on the global "ignore" list was the toughest call EVER short of signing a DNR form concerning my Dad. His refusal to "conform" is not so much the problem as those who refuse to accept the non-conformance and those in defense of the same.

And yes, Bill deleted that "big" thread himself proving once and for all that sharing information is not his purpose.
