Cactus Classic Warm-up Match Phoenix

The weather for the weekend was a mix of calm winds, strong breezes, sun shine and rain. The only good aspect was we didn’t have of that in the same 7 min match. For the most part conditions didn’t change rapidly, but you had to keep a vigilant eye out for the subtle changes. We had 27 shooters show up for the Cactus Warm-up. Over all the shooters did a good job of shooting good groups. There were many targets however with four shots great and one shot out. Often heard was; look at the four shots and then.......

Next match is the 2019 Cactus Classic at Ben Avery Phoenix, March 9th and 10th. The last 10-15 years the Cactus Match is the best attended 2 Day Benchrest Match in the country. Try and make it out and beat the Range. The competition will be good and with the right attitude you can have a good time testing yourself against some of the best benchrest shooters in short range benchrest.
Practice will be the 3rd through the 8th.
